In 2017, Internet fans chose their favorite bloggers, youtubers and other media creators for the fifth year in a row. In the Czech Blog Awards poll, Karel Kovář alias Kovy and Anna Šulcová scored points as the best video bloggers for 2017.

In May 2021, we held a hybrid conference with a high quality stream for 500 people on the NN team at 15 different locations across the Czech Republic. Event was designed for presentation of content by management, including awards ceremony. We have created engaging content with advanced 3D graphics solutions for live broadcasting, including changes to the studio environment for each event theme. Under the hybrid model, we combined pre-recorded and live sessions.

We carried out the event in cooperation with the Happenee team.

Gala dinner for the GenYouth organization boasted a lot of interesting names but we were of course most honored by the presence of the 42nd President of the United States of America who was scheduled to appear in front of our wall as a keynote speaker. Full of expectations, we created amazing large format backdrops for a wall spanning 120 feet inside a Intrepid Sea, Air & Space Museum in Manhattan. Breaks in the program gave space for logos of important partners and moving images to best compliment the youthful feel of the entire event. Our gala dinner projection mapping provided aesthetically pleasing backdrops, while allowing guests to also learn about the program and different speakers throughout the evening. Tasteful and flexible use of graphical components can really liven up, even the most formal events, while providing useful information to all attendees.

XLAB created a visual show for a concert dedicated to the music of John Williams. Each film theme received its own original visual sequence that drew from the soundtrack’s theme and reinterpreted it in a contemporary visual language. The production included immersive elements, spatial effects, and 3D illusions, all crafted to amplify the music’s dramatic power.

Every visual was precisely synchronized with the live orchestra, allowing music and image to flow together as one seamless whole and tell a single shared story.

The 53rd session of EUROSAI ( European Organisation of Supreme Audit Institutions ) was solved by a virtual conference due to ongoing Covid - 19 pandemics. Meetings with all board members were streamed to 67 countries in 5 languages. In the XLAB premises, we have secured simultaneous translation for all needed languages.

Videomapping in NYC for the 30th anniversary of the Convention on the Rights of the Child. An original animated short that visualized CRC’s 30-year history was prominently displayed with larger-than-life projection mapping around the room.

We have been working with the production of the Czech team of the Elite Model Look competition since 2015. This is the most prestigious and biggest modeling competition in the world. During the awards and fashion shows, we provide unique video mapping content to amplify the individual moments of the gala. In 2021, we also cooperated at the Grand Finale held at the Spanish Hall of Prague Castle.

Ben Cristo absolutely owned the stage in front of 30,000 screaming fans at Prague’s Eden Arena, delivering what many are calling one of the most powerful performances of his career. This was one of XLAB’s most ambitious productions to date — the team designed the full technical setup, directed the show, created every piece of stunning visual content, and co-developed the jaw-dropping stage design and overall spatial concept of the entire event.

During the Karlovy Vary International Film Festival, XLAB created the interactive Visa Tree light installation for Visa right in the city centre. Visitors could use payment terminal– to trigger a light animation with a single tap. The installation combined everyday payment technology with an immediate multimedia response, creating a clear link between innovation and contemporary artistic expression.

Opening Show Main stage was a massive 150 by 25 meters, requiring almost 400 square meters of LED screens with 8k video. Programmed in our Viewport studio.
